I completed my MA Fine Art at Chichester University in 2010. I did this because my first degree in fine art was in the 1960s when I was at Corsham and I felt in need of refreshment. I’ve been an artist ever since, showing work in Open Studios and other exhibitions most years and working in education alongside this (teaching art, personal and professional development and developing partnership programmes in colleges and universities). I wanted to focus my time more on art and to re-evaluate my ‘fit’ in the contemporary art world. The MA has encouraged me to do this and has also helped me to develop a new approach to my practice, so that I am now using a very flexible approach that mixes printmaking, collage and painting.
These are some photos from my MA final exhibition.
