Some of my art is on show in unusual places at the moment. Thirteen of my goddess monotypes are in the Fish Factory on the Brighton Road and looking quite comfortable there.
Another three prints are on Worthing pier and probably a lot less comfortable because it has been so cold and windy! This show is an event organised by Creative Waves and follows last year’s successful venture.
The newest show is in David Lloyd Worthing, where Paul and I were invited to put some quite large paintings in the new members lounge area – we think it looks good!
Our next Open Studios show will be over three weekends: June 22/23, 29/30 and July 6/7. There will be eight guest artists with us and you can see more about this on our website www.martinstudios.co.uk.
I’ll blog more about the work in my prehistoric caves series soon, but meanwhile here is a picture of my studio where I’m struggling with an enormous woodcut and taking lots of proof prints. Maybe I’ll have a print ready for the June show!
